Join NAMI Fort Wayne for our monthly Education Night Speaker Series on Tuesday, April 25 from 7-9 PM.
Our first speakers of the evening (7-8 PM) will be Dr. Richard Ruhrold, PhD and Senior Psychologist and Dr. Siquila Liebtrau, PsyD and Vice President of Clinical Services from the Bowen Center. They will speak about how untreated trauma in childhood affects us as adults. Bowen Center is the largest Community Mental Health Center in Indiana integrating primary health care with mental health care, addiction recovery treatment and life-skills coaching.
Our second speaker (8-9 PM) will be Michael Starrett, Director of Business Development with Acadia Healthcare. He will share information about the new Lutheran Maple Heights Behavioral Health Hospital. Opened in January of 2023, Maple Heights Behavioral Health offers personalized treatment for adults and seniors suffering from mental health disorders and addictions.
