Please join NAMI Fort Wayne for our monthly Education Night Speaker Series on Tuesday, October 27th from 7-8 PM.

Representatives from Indiana Advanced Psychiatry will be joining us to share more about their innovative work and how they’re helping individuals in our community experience real recovery from depression. Kelli Grady (Clinical Manager) and Josh Geibe (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) will be our guests.

Indiana Advanced Psychiatry offers a personalized and innovative approach for individuals struggling with depression—especially for those who haven’t found full relief from traditional treatments.

Depression is a common but serious condition that affects how a person feels, thinks, and functions in daily life. It can cause persistent sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in once-enjoyed activities. In Indiana, nearly one in three adults report symptoms of anxiety or depression, underscoring the importance of accessible, effective mental health care.

While antidepressant medications are often the first line of treatment, research shows that up to 46% of people don’t experience complete recovery from them alone. This is known as treatment-resistant depression.

Indiana Advanced Psychiatry specializes in helping individuals find renewed hope through personalized care, including advanced treatments like Spravato®, an FDA-approved therapy for treatment-resistant depression. Their mission is to expand access to effective mental health interventions and help patients rediscover joy, balance, and emotional well-being.

This event is free and open to the public. Please invite a friend, family member or neighbor to join you!
