Please join NAMI Fort Wayne for our monthly Education Night Speaker Series on Tuesday, October 27th from 8-9 PM.
Our second guest of the evening will be Amanda McNamara of Monarch Creative Ink.
Amanda is an artist and mental health advocate living with Bipolar 1. Diagnosed in 2010, Amanda has found powerful ways to use art to support her mental health and inspire others. Working with acrylics and collage, she channels her emotions and experiences into meaningful creations. Her journey led her to develop the Monarch Journal, a unique tool that grew from her “color theory brain chart”—a visual method she designed to track moods and communicate with family and providers during difficult times.
Through her art and advocacy, Amanda continues to open conversations about bipolar disorder and mental health awareness. As she shares her story and her work through Monarch Mental Health, she reminds us that creativity can be a bridge to understanding, healing, and connection.
This event is free and open to the public. Please invite a friend, family member or neighbor to join you!
