NAMI Fort Wayne will be at the Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, April 27. The theme is “Ally Up!” and will focus on building allies to help shape the community’s youth, creating a more inclusive future. Stop by the NAMI table for lots of information about mental health and chat with one of our board members.
The race is sponsored by the YWCA of Northeastern Indiana and raises funds for YWCA’s racial justice efforts, which include community events and organizing, assessing community priority areas for racial justice, working with BIPOC-led groups, and developing educational content to share with Fort Wayne and the northeast Indiana community.
Packet Pickup begins at 9am and the chip timed race starts at 10am.
Adult tickets are $45, student tickets (ages 15-23) are $20, and children 14 and under are $10.
