NAMI Fort Wayne received the following request for participation in a survey from Linda Williams, Program Director with NAMI Indiana.
The Indiana Recovery Council (IRC) is an advisory council to the Division of Mental Health and Addictions (DMHA) that consists of 16 individuals that support the goal of a recovery-oriented, person-centered service delivery system in Indiana.
Every year, the IRC puts out a lived experience survey to get information from individuals in recovery with mental health or substance use issues about their recovery, their barriers, and any stigma or discrimination they face. The survey will be used by the IRC to make recommendations to DMHA about ways to decrease barriers and help those with lived experience live well in their recovery.
If you would like to participate in this survey, please use this survey link. Please pass this information on to anyone that you know with lived experience of substance use or mental health issues for themselves or their family members. We want as many voices to be heard as possible!
