Peer Led Art Support Group headline over a ink sketch of a brain and hand holding a pen

A Peer-Led Art Support Group sponsored by Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana was recently featured on a WANE 15 Positively Fort Wayne report.

The group is free and open to anyone aged 13 and older interested in artistic expression and mental health. The facilitator, Amanda McNamara, has personal experience living with bipolar disorder and leads the group in navigating their emotions through painting. No prior art experience is necessary.

As regular participants in the class, NAMI Fort Wayne members, Brenda Edwards and Cynthia Gabbard, were interviewed throughout the report. They shared their experiences with grace and enthusiasm. Great job, ladies!
